Since I purchased the OnePlus Ace2 Pro last year at its launch, this phone, which boasts high performance and excellent heat dissipation, has accompanied me for nine months. However, over time, my evaluation of this phone has gradually shifted from initial expectations to disappointment. Today, I would like to take this opportunity to comprehensively analyze the various issues encountered during the use of the OnePlus Ace2 Pro and why it has made me feel like it is a "scam phone."
- Serious Heating Issues
From the first updated version, the OnePlus Ace2 Pro frequently experienced heating problems. Whether chatting on QQ, listening to music, or browsing daily, the phone would become extremely hot in a short period. This heating not only affected the user experience but also raised concerns about the phone's lifespan and safety. Although some subsequent versions attempted to address this issue, the effect was not significant, and in some cases, the heating problem became even more severe.
- Decline in Gaming Performance
As a phone that claims high performance, the OnePlus Ace2 Pro's performance in gaming has been disappointing. While early versions (such as 13.1 and 407) performed reasonably well in gaming, the later updated versions showed a noticeable decline in performance. During gaming, the phone not only overheated significantly but also had unstable frame rates, even experiencing lag and crashes. This is undoubtedly unacceptable for a user who loves gaming.
- Battery Life and Charging Issues
In addition to heating and gaming performance issues, the OnePlus Ace2 Pro also has problems with battery life and charging. After updating to certain versions, I found that the phone's battery life had significantly decreased, even failing to reach the levels advertised by the manufacturer. At the same time, the charging speed also became slower, with trickle charging taking longer and longer. These issues severely affected my daily usage experience.

As a new device, the treatment of the OnePlus Ace2 Pro regarding system updates has also been disappointing. When purchasing this phone, I was attracted by its touted "aircraft-grade heat dissipation" and "long-life 150W fast charging." However, in actual use, I found that the heat dissipation effect was not as advertised, and the battery life fell far short of the "long-life" standard. This false advertising not only harms consumer rights but also significantly undermines my trust in the OnePlus brand.
- User Feedback and Official Attitude
In response to various user feedback and complaints, the official attitude of the OnePlus brand has also been disappointing. Whether through official channels or social media platforms, users' voices seem to have not received adequate attention and response. This disregard for user feedback will undoubtedly further exacerbate user dissatisfaction and disappointment.

From heating, gaming performance, battery life and charging, system updates to false advertising, this phone has failed to meet my expectations in almost every aspect. Therefore, I have no choice but to label this phone as a "scam phone" and hope to remind other consumers to choose carefully when purchasing a phone to avoid repeating my mistakes.
